Good Sam Committee
On behalf of the parish, the Good Sam Committee coordinates Christ’s mandate to serve those in need. This committee makes decisions regarding the allocation of St. Paul’s tithing (10%of the parish’s regular collection), providing financial support to about 30 organizations.

In addition to financial support , Good Sam manages service and giving opportunities for our parish community, such as the monthly food drive, St. Peter & Paul’s Kitchen, the Advent Giving Tree and “Operation Rice Bowl" (Lent).

Educating our parish regarding the needs of the less fortunate, Good Sam distributes information and often includes speakers at their meetings. New members are always welcome, either to join our regular meetings or to help with any of our special projects.

Embracing God's Children
Could you see yourself reading with a child in an inner-city school? Could you help an emotionally disturbed child learn their multiplication facts? Could you help a child from an inner-city school catch up with their classmates on the day’s lessons?

Food Collection
This ministry collects non-perishable food before the Masses on the last weekend of each month. Currently, food collections are delivered to Bethany House. There’s always a need for peanut butter, jelly, spaghetti, macaroni and cheese, ramen noodles, paper supplies, diapers and personal items. Help in delivering the food is always appreciated!

St. Peter and Paul's Kitchen
Can you spare about five (5) hours from 9 AM to 2 PM once a month? St. Paul’s folks volunteer two days each month on the first Friday and second Thursday. Please consult the bulletin to see when the kitchen is open.
