The Health Ministry, sponsored by the Webster-Penfield Catholic
Connection was formed in July 1999. Our mission is to facilitate
holistic preventative health care services. The Health Ministry hopes
to be an explicit bridge between the parish and health care resources
while promoting and witnessing the total mission of the church.
Health Ministry presents information through the parish bulletin and
pamphlets. Educational programs are being presented at the various four
(4) participating churches. Blood pressure screening is presented on
a monthly basis at each parish. The Health Ministry does not practice
direct or hands-on-care. Rather, it is a direct connection between Health
and Faith.
